UCLA Depression Research Internship

Interested in depression research? The UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences is now offering an internship opportunity for two to four UCLA undergraduates. If you are interested in psychiatry, neuroscience or cognitive psychology and would like to learn about clinical research studies you should apply! Interns will work with the doctors and research staff to assist in conducting research studies; including subject recruitment efforts, data entry and analysis, and treatment monitoring of sTMS patients. Classes in research methods and statistics are recommended, but not required. Interns will also be invited to attend a weekly research meeting where study protocol, results and IRB issues will be discussed. We are looking for innovative, bright young minds that are willing to learn and contribute to our dynamic lab. Interns will be expected to commit 8-10 hours each week for each quarter between the hours of 7AM to 5PM. We will work with your schedule to find a good fit. If you are interested in applying for the Depression Research Internship, please download the online application at http://www.lbbp.org/career/internship/. All Applications will be reviewed carefully. Students who are selected for an interview will be notified by e-mail to schedule an appointment.
